What about the couch?
You can’t undo the scratches before guests arrive. But you can cover the worn spots, refresh the whole room, and help guard against the next claw attack — without replacing your sofa.
Refresh my couchCat claws are real.
So is a better-looking couch.
Protection for the spots they love to scratch. A look you’ll love when guests walk in.
For their favorite scratching spots.
Scratch-resistant woven styles help reduce everyday snags and add a layer between sharp claws and your upholstery.
For the doorbell moments.
Cover worn areas in seconds with textures that look styled, not improvised.
For the messes after the scratches.
Easy-care styles make fur and cleanups simpler; selected blankets add spill protection.
Because the holidays feel better when your home feels ready
Hi there — I know how frustrating it is to love your cat and still watch the couch lose the battle. And when the holiday season rolls around, replacing a sofa shouldn't be another thing on your list.
So I wanted to make it easier to refresh your space early, protect what you can, and feel proud of the room you're welcoming everyone into.
Use it through Cyber Monday to shop Holiday-Ready Home styles and accessories before the holiday hosting season is in full swing.
Make the whole setup easier.
Keep the blanket in place, tackle stray fur, and finish the room.
A few things to know.
Does the 20% discount apply to everything?
Yes. Enter SOFAREADY20 at checkout for 20% off SofaHug blankets and accessories. The sale ends Nov 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
Will a SofaHug blanket stop every cat scratch?
No cover can promise that. A SofaHug blanket adds a layer between claws and your upholstery, and our scratch-resistant styles help reduce everyday snags. For determined scratchers, it also helps to give them a spot of their own, like our Cat Scratching Mat.
Are all SofaHug blankets waterproof?
No. The Waterproof Chenille and LuxeGuard Waterproof blankets have a waterproof protective layer. Our other styles do not, so choose one of these two if spills and pet accidents are your main concern.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your sofa's length from the outer edge of one armrest to the other, then its height from the top of the backrest, over the seat, down to the floor. Follow the curves of the sofa with your tape. Our size guide takes under two minutes, or send a photo of your sofa to support@sofahug.com and we'll recommend a size.
Can I use SOFAREADY20 on accessories too?
Yes. SOFAREADY20 works on accessories as well as blankets, so you can add finishing touches to the same order.
Your sofa deserves to feel holiday-ready, too.
Use SOFAREADY20 for 20% off everything through Cyber Monday, then choose the style that helps your space look cozy, polished, and more protected for the season ahead.
