A Note from Sarah

My friends joke that I talk to my cats more than I talk to people. They're not wrong. I'm an introvert who built her whole world at home and my cats are the center of it.

But there was always this one thing I couldn't fix: the sofa. I'd find scratch marks and feel that mix of love and frustration only cat people understand. I wasn't mad at them.

I was mad that every cover I tried made my home feel less like mine. I wanted something that cared for my sofa the way I cared for my cats — gently, beautifully, without making a fuss about it.

That feeling is the entire reason SofaHug exists.

Our Story

There was no launch day. No big moment. SofaHug just kind of happened — the way most real things do.

Sarah made a blanket she liked. She used it. Her cats loved it. A friend saw it and asked for one. Then another friend. Then someone she'd never met sent a message saying "my sister told me about this — do you sell them?"

That was the beginning. Not a business plan, just a blanket that quietly made its way from living room to living room because people kept sharing it with each other.

We've grown since then, but the feeling hasn't changed. We still make blankets for people like us — people who want their cats to be comfortable, their sofas to be safe, and their homes to feel exactly the way they imagined. Nothing more complicated than that.
